Zen Health Systems

Company

Built by the people this software is supposed to serve.

Most healthcare software is built far from the people who use it, then configured at them. We started from the other end: tools built by clinicians for the work they know, fitted to each institution through configuration and co-design, with every decision that matters made by the institution on the record. We carry the engineering, security and operations burden so the people doing the work don't have to.

Founder

A clinician, first.

Jacob Cotner, RN

Jacob is a registered nurse in oncology and cell therapy care coordination, one of the most protocol-dense corners of modern medicine. The company is built on a conviction any clinician will recognize: the person who knows the workflow should shape the tool, and every consequential choice should be an explicit, recorded decision, because that is how safe clinical practice already works.

We're deliberately building a team around that clinical core, including a founding commercial leader. If you've led enterprise healthcare sales and this page reads like something you'd want to build, write to us.

How we work

Plain claims, decisions on the record, a deliberate scope.

Plain claims

We say “SOC 2-ready architecture,” never “SOC 2 certified.” We name what tools store instead of saying “secure.” If a sentence can't survive an auditor reading it, we don't publish it.

Decisions on the record

Inside the product, every consequential choice is a recorded decision with a name on it. We run the company the same way, and our customers' compliance offices can tell.

Scoped on purpose

The tools that run a clinical service organize, track, and inform, and your clinicians decide. Nothing we build analyzes images or signals, acts on its own, or asks to be trusted without showing its basis. Concierge onboarding, not self-serve sign-up. A deliberate scope is how we stay worthy of the trust the rails promise.
